We have set up web sites for the public use for Kanata areas. The connection to the Katimavik community site is www.KatimavikWest.com, and the connection to the Glen Cairn community site is www.GlenCairnLiving.com. These sites will act as interactive portals to community events, garage sales, businesses, etc., and the best yet is that they are free for the residential community to use.

According to statistics released by the Ottawa Real Estate Board there were 13099 sales of residential properties through the MLS system in 2005, somewhat less than the 13152 sales in 2004. The average sale price in 2005 was $244,531.

MLS - Ottawa growth
In 1951 there were 61 properties (in the Ottawa board area) on Photo Co-op for a total volume of $786,000. Four years later (1955) 703 units were sold for a volume in excess of $10,000,000. In 1958 the numbers were1,300 properties worth over $20,000,000.
ROTARY IN THE COMMUNITY
We are proud to be a member of the Rotary Club of Ottawa Kanata Sunrise. This community based service club meets in Kanata every Wednesday morning at 7:00 am. The Rotarians are actively involved in student exchanges, international projects, and numerous other programs for the community. Their new web site is up. Rotary is an international service organization of business and professional men and women of all races and denominations, who encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, provide humanitarian service, help build goodwill and peace in their own communities and around the world.
